Back in March my boyfriend, Pete, and I got engaged. Our wedding was at City Park in New Orleans on September 26. We were pretty busy between wedding planning and buying our first home, but we did manage to design and produce our own wedding invitations. I’ve been looking forward to posting these for a while! Since we are both designers we pretty much felt obligated to make our own wedding invitations, and it turned out to be a great chance for us to work together on a project (which we rarely get the opportunity to do, surprisingly).
We mailed the invitations in black envelopes and tied all of the pieces together with a blue ribbon.
We printed our monogram on one side of the tag and the names of guests on the reverse.
Pete designed the PBJ monogram, which is beautiful if I do say so myself.
We included a map with directions to the venue.
The 2009 Love stamps are gorgeous, and I was so excited to use them!
